Brain, Head and Spinal Injury FAQs
Can you help with Rehabilitation?
Yes. Effective rehab is central to making the best possible recovery following an injury and we work with rehab providers to support you to live the fullest life possible. Read more here.
Can I talk to you on behalf of someone else who was injured?
Yes, of course. Please get in touch and we will be happy to talk to you in confidence with no obligation. Whenever a seriously injured client lacks the capacity to be able to provide instructions themselves, we will work with the family to appoint what is known as a Litigation Friend. This is usually a close family member. Once a Litigation Friend is appointed, we can take formal instructions from them throughout the case.
How much compensation will I receive?
It is not possible to put a figure on a complex claim without understanding the full impacts of the injury. For example, the most serious brain injuries attract awards of up to £350,000.00, but it is rare that a client will have one isolated injury. We also need to assess ongoing care needs which could be significant and depend on life expectancy. You may also have lost earnings because of the accident. All of these factors will be taken into account when assessing the value of your case. Often our most seriously injured clients recover many millions of pounds, but such compensation awards require meticulous preparation and will be supported by evidence. Your solicitors will support you throughout the claim to maximise the level of compensation.
How do you charge?
Most of our Personal Injury clients opt for our ‘No win, no fee’ agreement which allows us to get on with your case without any upfront financial outlay or risk to you of being out of pocket. Read more here.
