Nigel Barrowcliff

Nigel qualified as a Solicitor in 1995 after studying Law at the University of Sheffield. Nigel formed LLB Solicitors in 2012 and has led the business ever since.

Nigel is a skilled litigator having conducted cases in the highest Courts – he also holds a Master’s Degree in Advanced Litigation.

As a long-standing member of the Law Society Personal Injury Panel, Nigel represents clients who suffer serious and catastrophic injuries in multi-million-pound claims. Nigel initially trained at a large central London commercial practice and is an accomplished commercial litigator. Nigel is a supporter of Alternative Dispute Resolution and is a qualified Mediator and Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Lesley May

Senior Solicitor
(Medical Negligence & Rehab)

Lesley qualified as a Solicitor in 1992 after studying Law at the University of Liverpool. Lesley has experience across all injury types with an interest in complex clinical negligence claims.

A passionate advocate of the importance of early-intervention rehabilitation, Lesley uses her skills to support our most seriously injured clients and their families throughout the claims process.

Prior to joining LLB Solicitors in 2016, Lesley was a solicitor at a national personal injury practice.

Paul McNulty

Partner
(Serious Injury)

Paul studied law at Queen’s University Belfast, qualifying as a solicitor in 2009.

Before joining LLB Solicitors at its outset in 2012, Paul worked for a national practice representing Trade Union members where he gained experience across a wide range of disciplines.

Paul’s current focus is on personal injury litigation, with particular expertise in injuries arising from Accidents at Work and Accidents in Public Places.

Lee Jones

Senior Solicitor
(Personal Injury)

Lee qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and holds the status of Senior Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

Lee joined LLB Solicitors as a specialist personal injury solicitor in 2018.  His focus is on Road Traffic Accidents, including motorbike and cyclist claims, but he is also a specialist in Public Liability and Industrial Disease claims. 

Prior to joining LLB Solicitors, Lee was a Partner in a regional law firm where he led their Personal Injury division.

Clare Russell

Finance & Practice Manager

Clare has worked in legal practices since the 1980’s and is a highly experienced Practice and Accounts Manager.

Clare joined LLB Solicitors in 2014 and takes responsibility for the day to day operation of the firm, including our Finance, IT and HR functions. 

Clare also oversees the management of our ‘Hairdressing Claims’ and ‘Beauty Treatment Claims’ businesses.
